Christmas Craft Fair

On the 17th and 18th of December I was at my first ever Craft Fair at the Tube Station in Polzeath Cornwall. I had a wonderful two days and made lots of new friends and contacts. It was great to get a response to my work. My cards went down really well!

I decided to make some prints of my original works and I sold them as cards too! It was really nice to see my work in a totally different scale to how I had planned it and I think I have been converted to working smaller and producing more intricate Illustrations.

Photoshop

I've been using photoshop alot in my current freelance work and have decided to start using it to play around with old imagery and create new work. I thought it would be a great way of learning how to get to grips with Adobe Software! Im usually the girl stood by the photocopier hand drawing and scanning my Illustrations to create interesting patterns. Its time to move into the world of computer editing! I'll post some work when its done!

Degree Show June 2009

I never got around to putting my Degre show work on my Blog so here are just some of my drawings. I thought what better way to start off my new work than by recapping on my foundations, the work that had led me to where i am today.
I have always loved the idea of layering images together to create a depth in my drawings. Working with ink in a very loose and creative way helps to bring these drawings to life. It is this idea that has moved forward with me into my new work.
soon to be posted!
